JMF’s Vande Mataram Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science, abbreviated as, JMF VMDC is a private institution registered trust under the Bombay Trust Act, 1950 and Charity Commission, Mumbai and is also having an FCRA Certificate along with 80G. The institute was established in 2009 and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai.

Lab: College already has well-developed laboratories equipped with all modern facilities and apparatus as per the syllabus for Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry and an exclusive high tech Computer laboratory Advance Computerized Library having a compilation of more than 1000 Books pertaining not only to the ongoing syllabus of students but also covering each and every aspect of studies, current affairs, preparation for competitive exams and relevant reference books and journals.
Counselling cell: It has been observed that some of the students have personal problems, causing stress and strain. The college has set up a counselling cell to help such students cope with these problems every day from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00.p.m. The college intends to make arrangements with professional counsellors for solving the various problems relating to stress, depression, etc. The students/parents/staff are requested to make use of this facility and all matters will be kept confidential. Student welfare fund: Students, who need financial assistance and books for their education, can benefit from this fund. This fund helps needy and deserving students with books and fees. Students are expected to apply for aid with a parental income certificate and a copy of the mark sheet on the prescribed application form.
Student Startup scheme: Students who need seed capital (up to Rs 5000/-) will be provided by the college that is interested in launching a small business. The Student should prepare a business proposal and a business plan for the funding. The Approval and allocation of the fund are reserved by the Principal. Changes in the fund and the limit of the funding are under the sole discretion of the Principal.
Gymkhana: The college gymkhana trains and develops the sporting abilities of the students The college offers facilities for a number of sports activities. Among the outdoor games, the college offers facilities like football, handball, volleyball, cricket, kabaddi, kho kho, basketball, hockey, ball – badminton, etc. In the indoor games, table tennis, chess, carom, etc., are provided. The gymkhana also has fitness workout machines for fitness-conscious students. The college has recently acquired gymnasium apparatus for the students. The college has well-developed grounds for outdoor games.
Student’s aid and book fund: The college has a Student’s aid fund from which deserving and needy students of degree college are given financial assistance to meet their tuition/examination fees, cost of books, S.T. Pass, medical charges, etc. Students should apply for assistance in response to the notice issued in this regard. Every student of the degree college has to contribute Rs 5 as a yearly contribution towards the Students’ aid fund. The Student's Aid Fund has established a book bank. It is for providing textbooks to the needy and deserving students. Books are issued for one academic year only. Students are expected to use the book with care and return them to the book bank after the examination. Books for various competitive examinations are also available in the book bank. Students are expected to follow the rules of the book bank strictly.
College canteen: The college provides a pure Veg. canteen facility on the college premises for students, members of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. Every care is taken to maintain the quality of food items and cleanliness in the canteen. Students get snacks at reasonable rates. Students can use this facility during recess.
Job melas: We conduct campus interviews and have to tie up with leading companies and conduct job mela on the campus. Regular soft skill training and grooming sessions are conducted regularly to prepare the students to ace the interviews.
National Service Scheme: This activity is only for degree college students. The main aim of N.S.S. is to create social awareness among the students. The activities like tree plantation, blood donation camp, helping police authorities during the Ganesh festival, educating the people in the neighboring rural areas, etc, are conducted throughout the year. Those students who satisfactorily complete 120 hours of work are eligible to get 10 marks in the college/university examination.
JMF’s Vande Mataram Degree College of Arts, Commerce and Science (CS & IT) offers financial aid with the help of the Government of Maharashtra to the deserving students. JMF Scholarship is given to all who deserve irrespective of caste and religion. It is available to underprivileged and economically backward students. from Rs 500 to Rs 10,000 as per the economically backward & social status of the students and guardians.
